GARDEN MAINTENANCE

I’m happy to offer my garden services across the Seattle area where many of the gardens I maintain I've designed myself. With over 20 years of experience gardening in the Pacific Northwest, I have a deep understanding of the plants that thrive here and know how to care for them. I treat each client's garden like my own, giving it the love and attention it deserves. Whether you need monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly visits, we can assess your garden's needs and your vision during our initial meeting and walk-through. Let's make your garden flourish!

Before earning my landscape design and horticulture degree in 2002, I spent a decade working solely as floral designer in Santa Fe, New York City and Seattle. I've designed flowers in and for many local venues such as The Skansonia, The Sorrento Hotel, The Ruins, The Pink Door and other restaurants. I love creating unique and personalized bridal bouquets and centerpieces. Whether it's a wedding or any significant event, I will be happy to make some beautiful creations for you. Reach out for a consultation and let's make your vision come to life!

GARDEN DESIGN

I've been passionately designing gardens in the Seattle area for over 20 years. I work with varying scopes and budgets from gardens with patios and decks to simply creating beautiful planting combinations. I consider how you use your garden and how you want it to make you feel. I call in a team of select masons and carpenters for larger projects, but I personally handle all the planting, carefully selecting the best plants and placing them with love. Whether you're dreaming of a serene shade garden or a vibrant explosion of colors, I’ll create a garden that is a balanced blend of evergreens, perennials, and annuals so it dazzles year round.

FINE PRUNING

Pruning is one of my favorite tasks in the garden. I have years of experience pruning small ornamental trees such as Japanese maples. I also renovate mature shrubs such as Rhododendrons and Camellias which are popular in our area. I don't 'lollipop' plants, but have a more natural approach pruning from the inside out to create more light and air flow. This helps the health and longevity of the plant while also creating a sculptural focal point. Pruning is done seasonally depending on the tree or shrub. Reach out for a consultation and time line for your plant in need.
