ABOUT SARA BRACKEN

Since earning my horticulture and landscape design degree in 2002, I've designed and installed a variety of gardens, with a focus on smaller residential spaces. Previously, I worked for ten years as a floral designer, and I continue to enjoy both artistic endeavors. I also specialize in fine pruning small trees and renovating mature shrubs.
I maintain select gardens, many of which I created, and adapt my services to different budgets and project scales. Nature inspires all aspects of my work, from the intricate details of lichen and seedpods to the vibrant hues of spring branches and blossoms. My experience in floral and garden design is reflected in my use of color, texture, and diverse natural materials. I blend unique plants, containers, and stone into modern, innovative settings, always tailored to each client's needs while emphasizing thoughtful combinations for year-round interest.
When not working I can be found spending time with my two teen boys, tending to my own garden, creating art and patterns, and practicing yoga.
