LAKEWOOD RIVERBED HOUSE
This project in the Lakewood neighborhood of Seattle was designed and installed in phases over several years. The main scope of the project was removing a large section of lawn in the front and creating an ornamental riverbed from black Mexican beach pebble. Each stone was intentionally placed on the vertical to create a visually appealing focal point at the entry. The garden incorporates several different grass varieties, which create beautiful movement, along with some hardy perennials and shrubs. The large raised bed at the front was also replanted with a mix of colorful plants for year round interest. There is also a raised bed on the east side of the house which showcases a lovely shade garden. Use the before & after sliders to see the transformations.
